Agree.  Even though burning wood is carbon neutral there's still a deficit of trees in the world.  We need them to be alive and doing their thing.

Guess Billy is unaware as to what wood pellets are made of.  It ain't "wood".  It's the shit that USED to get buried.

Wonder what he'd write about my Corn stove?

Also, coal and gasoline are also carbon neutral - just long ago converted.

Coal and oil aren't renewable (to us) and release far too much co2 and particulate matter.

I didn't say they are - but that statement isn't completely true.

Also the amount of CO2 given off has been traded off (carbon neutral) millions of years ago.

It wasn't a good trade-off.  The oxygen was long used and converted to more CO2 while the CO2 captured in the plants were buried and now we're releasing a huge amount of it at an inconvenient time (not an ice age).
